Stylantir ("we", "us", "the bot") provides an automated member verification service for Discord servers. This policy explains, in general terms, what information we process when you interact with that service and why.

Information we collect

When you verify through Stylantir, we may collect and store:

  • Basic Discord account information (your user ID, username, avatar, and account creation date), as provided by Discord's API
  • Network information associated with your verification attempt (such as your IP address and general geographic region)
  • Technical characteristics of the browser and device used to complete verification
  • The outcome of your verification attempt and related activity history within servers that use the bot

How we use this information

We use the information above to:

  • Confirm you are a legitimate, human member of a Discord server
  • Detect and prevent automated, fraudulent, or abusive verification attempts
  • Support moderation decisions made by the administrators of servers that use the bot
  • Maintain and improve the reliability and security of the service

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. Data is shared only with the infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service (such as our hosting, database, and bot-verification providers) and with Discord, as required for the bot to function. Server administrators using Stylantir can see verification activity and outcomes for their own server.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, support moderation and security decisions, and meet our legal obligations. You or a server administrator may request deletion of your data as described below.

Children's privacy

Stylantir is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone below Discord's own minimum age requirement. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the bot after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
